The sand filling is in a closed plastic piston, that prevents any humidity. The hour glass is delivered completely mounted with two plastic standing feet the color of which changes according to the sandclock's time.
Distinction through colored stands : yellow sandclock = 30 seconds (7,5 cm high, diameter 2 cm) green sandclock = 60 seconds (7,5 cm high, diameter 2 cm) red sandclock = 90 seconds (10 cm high, diameter 2,5 cm) blue sandclock = 180 seconds (10 cm high, diameter 2,5 cm)
